This program is provided by Senior Dining Choices, a service of Optage, the home and community division of Presbyterian Homes & Services.

Services:

  • Healthy lunch served Monday through Fridays (excluding Holidays) from 11:30 to 12:30 in the Seniors Congregate Dining Center (Seniors must arrive by noon, and be registered with the program to eat)
  • Transportation available for those in our transportation service area (contact Ken Danielson 612.879.1747 for eligibility)

Eligibility:

  • Must be age 60 or older
  • Must be registered with the Minneapolis American Indian Center’s Congregate Dining Program
  • Open to individuals of all races or ethnic backgrounds

Due to the current pandemic all classes will be held online via Zoom.

Introductory class focusing on the basics of Ojibwe grammar, learning how to conjugate VAI verbs, understanding nouns, adverbs, preverbs, demonstrative and basic introductory questions and phrases.
